Gas Explosion

 It may be a deflagration or detonation. it totally depend on the flame speed which can be greater than or less than the speed of sound in the unburned fuel air mixture. In deflagration and detonation Peak pressure and the form of pressure time loading are fundamentally different . In detonation Peak pressure generated are at least twice as large as those of deflagration. Pressures generated in gas or dust deflagrations in buildings are often of the order of 1 psig because most building structures will fail at pressures of that order of magnitude

I have done Diploma in M.e I want to do b e in fire safety how to get admission in this college

 If a person wants to do fire and safety course than he/she can get admission through giving jee main test after the result got declared than he/she can apply in any college like NFSC NAGPUR or IES IPS academy or CUSAT I don't know whether NFSC or CUSAT takes admission directly to second year after diploma but in IES IPS academy a student who have completed it diploma can get direct admission in 2 year of the course. in nfsc and Cusat you can apply directly on their site after the jee main result is declared.

Duties of occupier under Factories Act, 1948

All the duties of occupier comes under Section (7A)   Duties of occupier are divided into two parts - Specific Duties- Depending upon the nature of work, working conditions and the situations special specific duties are assigned for the occupier's  under factories act 1948.   General duties-  Every occupier shall ensure so far as is reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare of all workers while they are at work in the factory. The additional duties of occupier are as under the provision of the sub section(1)  the matters to which such duty extends shall include- The provision & maintenance of plant and system of work in the factory that are safe and without risks to health. The arrangements in the factory for ensuring safety and absence of risks to health in connections with the use, handling storage and transport of articles and substances. Occupier Under factories act 1948

 a definition of occupier is given in chapter 1 (Preliminary) under section 2  according to it  An occupier of a factory means a person who has ultimate control over the affairs of the factory. in special cases it is defined as - 1. In case of firm or other association of individuals any one of the individual partner or members there of shall be deemed to be the occupier. 2. in case of company any one of the director shall be deemed to be the occupier. 3. In the case of ship which is repaired or on which maintenance work is being carried out, in a dry dock which is available for hire- The owner of the dock shall be deemed to be the occupier for the purpose of any matter provided for by or under.- Section 6, 7 (section 7A, Section 7b),Section 11, Section 12. Section 17 in so far it relates to the providing and maintenance of sufficient and suitable lighting in or around the dock. Section 1A, Section 19, Section 42, Section 47 or Section 49, in relation to the workers employed on such re
